Have a look on Ali-Express

Board

OR Board and 2004 LCD screen

I've used that board & both sellers a few times. Delivery was quick and no problems flashing.  It comes with 4 little heatsinks which the original doesn't use. I fitted mine but had to cut a couple of the fins off the X one so it would fit in the Prusa case.

Thanks,

Steve

Thanks for links, it seems I will have to buy one to replace orignal Prusa board.

Can you please explain, what you mean by "had to cut a couple of the fins off the X one"?

One of the clone boards I bought came with little black heatsinks.  When you fit the board into the Prusa box the X driver just sits below the cable entry point for the extruder.  If you fit the heatsink to the X driver the little fins catch on the cable entry hole. I just used some snips to cut off a couple of fins. Really easy to do. If you own an original then it will only take 10 minutes to swap over :-) Just remember to flash with the latest firmware when done.

I tried taking a photo, but all the wires coming in from the extruder blocked the shot sadly.  I will be doing a full build diary from start to finish in a few weeks.. this will be my 5th Prusa build :-)

Oh, now I see what you mean. Thanks for details. I will be sending my Prusa back in few days, but might need to build second spare one to fix another if breaks :)

Hi,

Just having a look now..

You need the 30x30 aluminum extrusion for the bed, you have the flat plate but no legs.
No need for any endstops, it's sensorless
Not sure if the mk3s filament sensor has a ball bearing also?
You need screws with the feeder really
Normally the motors have built-in leadscrews, but you can use the couplings.
Those leadscrews you have picked would require new X-axis carriage parts, I have designed these already so no probs.
Only need a small ptfe tube
Hotend looks ok, make sure its 24v
Power supply.. hmm you might need a prusa type one if you want the power out to work.

Motors look okay, but the lead wont fit the board, you need to be new leads.

Hope this helps :-)
